On Saturday 19 September, Aarhus City Welcome returns to Dokk1 for a day of inspiration, useful information and new connections for internationals living in Aarhus.
Man. 7. sep.
Whether you have just arrived or have lived here for years, Aarhus City Welcome is a chance to discover more of what the city has to offer. Meet organisations, associations and public authorities, get practical advice about living and working in Denmark, and connect with other internationals.
The programme includes talks on Danish work culture, networking, taxes, schools and social life, as well as the Information Bazaar, where you can explore everything from jobs and volunteering to culture, sports and learning Danish.
You can also meet experienced internationals for one-to-one conversations in the Living Library, get creative with traditional Danish crafts or explore Dokk1 on a treasure hunt with prizes from Aarhus' museums and cultural institutions.
Aarhus City Welcome is organised by International Aarhus, part of Citizen Service at the City of Aarhus, and is part of Welcome September – a national month dedicated to welcoming international citizens in Denmark.
See the full programme and practical information in our event: Aarhus City Welcome 2026.
Aarhus City Welcome is dedicated and tailored to all international professionals, accompanying partners/family and students.
